Dr. Ella Karia has experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, Autism, Gifted Children, children struggling with Anxiety and Social Disorders. She has worked in the classroom and small group settings and individualized program and the counselling environment. Continuing to connect with psychologists, social workers, researchers and educators while staying involved in various current educational initiatives has truly expanded her breadth of experience and expertise with children. She has been instrumental in understanding child development needs. Dr. Karia has had an impact on the lives of children driving change in initiatives with shifts in educational policy and educational practices to meet the needs and current challenges for children. In her books, she highlights her child and youth development research and key findings bringing forth recommendations for parents, practitioners and policymakers. She continues to teach, be involved with curriculum writing teams, engage with child development networks, present at educational conferences and facilitate workshops while offering counselling, tutoring and guidance to children and families to achieve their goals.
